Pole Top/Bucket Rescue
OSHA requires workers to both familiar with and trained in the safety-related work practices and procedures that pertain to their job assignments – working on overhead lines or in transformers, vaults, and man-ways. Our classes recognize the crew as a team to work together to perform rescue duties – it is not one person.
OSHA recognizes the fact that it is nearly impossible to replicate all rescue scenarios – simply stated – there is no standardized rescue procedure. It is up to the individual company to evaluate the hazards present at the job and the job procedures. From this – a rescue plan should be drawn, tested, taught, and practiced.
